PROWIN HONORS ITS 2020 VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR!

PROWIN is a volunteer run organization and we could not do all the wonderful things we do without the help of all our volunteers and we thank each and every one of you for enhancing our programs by participating. Every year PROWIN honors its outstanding members and volunteers with the Volunteer of the Year Award.

This award was originally created by Linda Collett, Esq., long-standing member (since 2008), former advisory board member and past president of PROWIN. “If Linda was in charge of a project it would be done, and it would be done well!” Her enjoyment came from giving the volunteer award to members who leaned in and gave of their time to make PROWIN the wonderful organization that it is. To honor Linda’s unrelenting dedication, PROWIN is pleased to announce that this award will henceforth be known as the Linda Collett Volunteer of the Year Award.

PROWIN is also excited to announce that it selected Jennifer Hall, Arlene Stearns and Carrie Carpenter as the recipients of the Linda Collett Volunteer of the Year Award for 2020. Thank you, ladies, for your contributions to your committees, your fellow members, and the assistance you lent at various PROWIN events in 2020 to ensure their success and member engagement:

Jennifer Hall helped spearhead PROWIN’s Annual Bootcamp aligning the presenters and working behind the scenes with her PROWIN cohorts to ensure the event’s success in spite of a postponed due to Hurricane Zeta. In addition, Jennifer helped PROWIN members stay on top of their game with an awesome PROWIN Lunch & Learn presentation on “How to Handle Objections” in October 2020.

Arlene Stearns continues to keep the relaxation and fun going cohosting PROWIN’s monthly Happy Hours on Thursday evenings; and she shared her knowledge at PROWIN’s Annual Bootcamp ensuring that our members stay “Head and Shoulders Above the Rest” – Zoom or not.

Carrie Carpenter raised her hand and became a volunteer extraordinaire helping on committees in need, whether it was writing promotional content, editing, or “simply” sending emails, she helped keep projects on track and members informed.

PROWIN congratulates these outstanding volunteers! Are you ready to stand out from the crowd? Don’t be shy! If you’re interested in exploring volunteer committee opportunities, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you!
