2020 ProWIN Success Bootcamp – Call for Experts

ProWIN’s Success Bootcamp Event is coming back!
We are looking for some facilitators who are experts in their field.
Could that be you?

ProWIN will host its third annual ProWIN Success Bootcamp on October 29th from 1-4PM via ZOOM. Because previous bootcamps were well attended and always received rave reviews, we are excited to begin planning our 2020 session.

The bootcamp event will be comprised of 5 separate virtual roundtable discussions that are led by subject matter experts.  Every bootcamp attendee can select 4 of the 5 discussion segments during the program.  The discussion leaders will share their knowledge and insight on hot topics that are of interest to professional women and will have the opportunity to answer questions that participants have on the subject.  This event is open to ProWIN members, our AWN and NAWBO affiliates, and the public.

We invite any ProWIN Member who is interested to apply to serve as a table facilitator at this year’s event.  This is a volunteer, unpaid opportunity to share your expertise with your peers. Note: Facilitation is a member benefit and opportunities are only open to current ProWIN members.

Facilitators will have 35 minutes to share a topic which includes a 5-minute introduction for the group, a 20-minute informal presentation and a 10-minute Q&A allotment. Presentations should be educational in nature and should not be used as an advertisement for your own business or service.

Discussion Topics:
Building your team – How can you incorporate virtual, outsourced, and in-person employees into your team and be productive?
Build your Business with a Solid Foundation – Discuss infrastructure recommendations, SOPS, processes, etc.
Managing the Numbers – Outline key items to focus on in financial statements, key performance indicators, trends, CRM statistics, etc.
Financial success – For personal and business, tax planning, retirement planning, investing, profitability, budgeting, saving, etc.
Business Development and Networking Tactics – This can include building a referral network, business development, networking and follow-up skills, sales conversion, target audience ID, etc.
Marketing vs. Sales – What is the difference?
Resilience – Suggestions on how you can pivot in your business and be flexible, especially in times like today where Covid-19 has changed our world
Self-Care – How can a business owner fit this into their hectic schedule?

Our goal is for attendees to leave the event with new information and one actionable step they can immediately implement. To that end, we will prioritize facilitators who offer the following:

  • A strong core idea. Can the facilitator explain the learning point in a single sentence?
  • A usable, single-page handout, worksheet, or visual aid.
  • An exercise or homework assignment that their attendees can complete to practice what they have learned.
  • A valuable technique or strategy that is not readily available in a book or webinar.

If you are interested in facilitating, please complete the application. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Hall.  The final facilitators will be chosen by a committee based on the relevance and impact of the topic, takeaway materials, experience in the field and overall content.
