ProWIN VIRTUAL Lunch & Learn – Ideas, Insights, and Challenges in the New Normal on May 27, 2020 @ ZOOM
May 27 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Please join your fellow ProWIN members for our next VIRTUAL Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, May 27th from 11:30AM – 1:00PM! ProWIN continues to be committed to Building Business by Building Relationships and helping its members stay connected and engaged with each other. During this time of transition, we are dedicated to supporting our members with relevant and informative weekly webinars in April/May. New topics of discussion will be presented each week.

This week’s topic is: Ideas, Insights, and Challenges in the New Normal

How has COVID impacted your business? What challenges do you have moving forward? Want to get some fresh ideas? Come prepared for a fast-paced, engaging, and insightful virtual collaboration. We will share challenges and glean amazing insights on how to move forward in these new waters.

Using Zoom, we’ll experiment with some ways to increase engagement, invite creative thinking and create connection in a virtual environment. Individually, you’ll progress on challenges you face in light of COVID19. Together, we’ll make discoveries! It is likely to be messy at times. Be prepared for a little chaos, a lot of informality, and some fun.

This isn’t really a session on how to use Zoom, but you’ll get some good experience WITH Zoom during the time we’re together.

What You’ll Need in Order to Meaningfully Participate:

● Video! Don’t worry about makeup or fancy clothes, but do come prepared to participate with video ON.
● You’ll need to be in a quiet-enough space to hear the session and contribute yourself.
● The sound tends to be better when with headphones/earbuds, so you might want to test that.
● Paper and a writing utensil are your friends.
● Mostly, bring some patience, your sense of humor, a taste for adventure, and some curiosity.

Technical Details:

● We will use ZOOM for this session.
● If at all possible, please join this session using a desktop or laptop computer, rather than a phone or tablet, which has a more limited mobile interface. This particular session will be so interactive, and you’ll want easy tech.
● The Zoom room will be open 15 minutes (or more) prior to the event if you want to hop on and test your setup and troubleshoot anything. Or you can test your Wi-Fi and your system with Zoom: https://zoom.us/test
● We will use chat and breakout rooms frequently.
● At the time of this writing, you can join Zoom by simply clicking on the Zoom meeting link, but there’s talk that Zoom is going to start requiring users to have a Zoom account. In that case, you can download Zoom here: https://zoom.us/download

ProWIN Virtual Professional Development Workshop: Self-Knowledge Is Power – Turbocharge Your Career or Business! @ Zoom Meeting
Jun 9 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Are you re-thinking your career direction or business plan in light of our new reality? This time of social distancing is an opportunity to consider new ways to look at and package your skills and talents. Getting in touch with your innate abilities is a powerful strategy to jump-start that process. Take advantage of this unique offering to take the Highlands Ability Battery™ (HAB) – an online tool that uses performance-based measurements to assess your innate strengths. The HAB Assessment, virtual Professional Development Workshop, and personal follow-up is being offered at an exclusive 40-50% ProWIN discount to attendees!

You will be able to access the battery through an online portal, complete the assessment in advance and preview your results. During the VIRTUAL workshop, Joyce Auskelis will offer a two-hour, in-depth debrief to ensure you understand what your results mean and how to apply this knowledge in your approach to daily work tasks and in making informed career/business decisions. Note that your results are confidential and will not be shared with other participants.

Learning objectives include:

  • Elevate your self-knowledge to effectively differentiate yourself from the competition
  • Learn how your brain is hardwired for learning, problem-solving and communicating
  • Heighten your awareness about how to leverage your talents for optimal career satisfaction and value to others
  • Gain insight into how to work more effectively with others

Here is what to expect:

  1. You will receive an access code and instructions within 24 hours of registration.
  2. Complete the battery through an online portal using your unique access code. It will take about three hours to complete, but you can split the process into multiple sessions.
  3. Access your results within 24 hours! Note that your results are confidential and will not be shared with other participants.
  4. Review your results to become familiar with the language of abilities.
  5. Attend the workshop on June where Joyce Auskelis will offer a two-hour, in-depth debrief to ensure you understand what your results mean and how to apply this knowledge in your approach to daily work tasks and in making informed career/business decisions.
  6. Sign up for a half-hour individual session with Joyce within ten days of the workshop for a more personalized discussion of your ability profile. She will introduce you to an interactive tool that includes occupational suggestions that align with your individual profile and links to an in-depth career database to empower you to explore independently.
  7. You will have permanent access to your digital results through the Highlands Company portal using your login credentials.

The value you derive from participating will yield immediate benefits but will also have lasting value as you contemplate future career decisions!

RSVP BY June 1, 2020 – DON’T DELAY, EVENT LIMITED TO 15 ATTENDEES

Important Note:
Details on how to access the HAB online will be provided upon completion of registration. BE SURE TO ACCESS AND COMPLETE THE BATTERY PRIOR TO THE WEBINAR! The Zoom login instructions for the webinar will be included in the event confirmation email that you’ll receive from 123Signup after completing your event registration.
