Clare Stefan divides her time between two businesses as Director of Business Development for Active Financial Group, an independent financial planning firm that focuses on retirement income planning for individuals, families and small business owners and as a Marketing Analyst for 1stWest Mergers & Acquisitions, LLC, a boutique investment banking and advisory firm dedicated to serving private businesses worldwide in the lower-middle market with sales of up to $100 million.
Clare has more than 25 years of experience in the residential new construction and remodeling markets and has developed many relationships with top industry executives from her career in BtoB publishing.
In addition being an active ProWIN member, Ms. Stefan serves on the Board of Directors for two 501(c) (3) organizations, The National Remodeling Foundation and Leadership Sandy Springs. She is a graduate of Leadership Sandy Springs Class of 2013 and is active in the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce.
Clare, and her husband and business partner, Ed Stefan, are very passionate about educating baby boomers and the younger generations on the importance of saving and planning for retirement. They speak regularly to community groups and share their knowledge of the challenges of planning for retirement. Some of their seminar topics include: Understanding Social Security and Strategies to Maximize Benefits; Planning for Increased Health Costs in Retirement; Estate Planning Basics, Understanding and Planning for Long Term Care, The Role of Annuities in Retirement Planning, and Retirement Income Planning Basics. They also speak to women’s groups and share strategies on how women can overcome some of the unique financial challenges that they face.
Ms. Stefan enjoys spending her leisure time traveling with her husband, reading, solving crossword puzzles, playing Words with Friends, playing an occasional round of golf, swimming and fitness training.
