ProWIN Winners August 2019: Joyce Auskelis & Robin Muretisch

HURRY Registration Ends 8/20! Please join ProWIN Members Joyce Auskelis & Robin Muretisch, for a Netweaving Forum luncheon on Thursday, August 22nd from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. The meeting discussion will focus on Organizational Psychologist Adam Grant’s research and findings about the three basic kinds of people in every workplace – the givers, takers and matchers.

The event takes place at Capital Grille near Perimeter Mall with a special prix fixe menu at an all-inclusive price of $29 (3-course meal, your choice of seafood, chicken, beef or vegetarian; beverage, tax, and tip included). Separate checks provided.

If you are not familiar with Adam Grant’s work, you are in for a treat! For those who have read his book, Give and Take, or seen Adam Grant’s TED talk, you will want to come to dialog with others on the topic. We’ll collaborate on the topic at hand, think through personal applications, and share with others to glean their insights and offer some accountability.

The Netweaving Forum is a new group co-organized by Joyce Auskelis and Mike Wittenstein. It builds on the foundation created by Bob Littell and his Don’t-Need-to-Read-the-Book book club. All pay-it-forward-minded people are welcome! It is a multi-generational, inclusive group… Know someone who might like to attend? A son or daughter? Or a younger work colleague or client? Feel free to invite anyone you feel would benefit from learning about Netweaving and interacting with our members.

Please REGISTER HERE by August 20th EOB – AND provide your name, company or employer name, and a link to your LinkedIn profile. An attendee list will be distributed in advance of the luncheon, so you can see how many friends and friends-to-be will be in the room. When you register, you’ll receive Bob Littell’s 18-page summary of the book and a podcast link, so you will have multiple media options to explore the concepts ahead of time.

Netweaving is more than networking. It is a “Pay it Forward” approach that builds bridges of trust by listening and helping others first. It is the proactive facilitation of ideas, opinions, and experiences among participants.
