PROWIN Event Policies and Waivers

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you paid for an event in advance and are unable to attend, you may receive a refund (less a $10 service charge) if you notify us 5 business days prior to the event by sending an email request to [email protected]. All refunds will be returned using the same method you used for payment.  If you're unable to attend, you may send a substitution in your place by sending your guest's name, company, and email address to [email protected].

LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF HEALTH RISK (For In-Person Events)
The PROWIN Board of Directors is concerned about the health and safety of our PROWIN membership and their guests during the COVID pandemic. All PROWIN event attendees knowingly and freely assume all health risks, both known and unknown, and accept full responsibility for their participation and attendance at any events hosted by PROWIN. By registering for this event, attendees agree to waive, release, and hold harmless PROWIN, its directors, members, agents, sponsors, and the venue.

COMMUNICATION POLICY
PROWIN is dedicated to providing professional women with opportunities to "Build Business by Building Relationships." We pride ourselves on creating an environment where our members, guests, and visitors come to make meaningful connections rather than to only pitch their products, services, or cause.

Translating that spirit and mission to written communications, any contact information included in the member directory, obtained from a business card, or otherwise collected as a result of your involvement in any PROWIN activity should not be added to any email or snail mail distribution list for any reason including, but not limited to, business promotion, newsletters, solicitation, fundraising, or political or election news, unless you have the recipient's prior express permission. PROWIN members, guests, and visitors are asked to respect the privacy of others they meet through PROWIN by not spamming them and to do what we at PROWIN do best, which is conduct business on a personal level by building relationships. Thank you for your cooperation.

PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE
PROWIN may have a photographer and/or videographer at this event. By attending this event or by allowing us to videotape you giving a testimonial about PROWIN, you agree that:

  • PROWIN may use your likeness in a photo and/or your likeness and voice in a video recording for marketing, publicity and other business purposes that PROWIN, in its sole discretion, may choose;
  • All photos and/or video will become the property of PROWIN;
  • PROWIN may edit, alter, copy, copyright, exhibit, publish or distribute any photo, video or sound recording of you for any lawful purpose;
  • You will not be entitled to inspect or approve the finished product; and
  • You will not be entitled to receive any payment or compensation from the use of any photo or video of you.
